Our Rhythm

Together today

Plain language

What's in here

All 35 parts of the app, what each one is for, and the ground rules behind them.

The ground rules

These hold everywhere, on every page.

Nothing is required
Every checklist, streak and reminder can be skipped, snoozed or hidden for good.
No guilt language
Late things stay the same colour. Missed days leave no gap to catch up on.
Reminders are opt-in
They live inside the app only — no push, no red badges, no email.
Private stays private
Journal entries, kids' pulse answers and restricted files are only visible to whoever they belong to.
Small is fine
Half an answer, one slider, one line — all of it counts as done.

Every day

The parts you'll see without going looking.

  • Every day

    Today

At most three things, a greeting, what's next, and a line of encouragement. Nothing turns red when it's late.

  • Every day

    Quick add

The button that follows you around the app. Speak or type half a sentence; it lands in triage and you decide later — or never.

  • Every day

    Morning brief & the assistant

A short read of the day, plus a place to ask things like 'what's this week look like?' in ordinary words.

  • Every day

    Family at a glance

Everyone's stars, check-in streaks and the bills coming up, on one card. It's a snapshot, not a ranking.

  • Every day

    Focus toolkit

Time-blocking, transition heads-ups, a focus timer and 'focus together' sessions for ADHD days. Switch it off in Settings if it isn't for you.

Planning

Enough structure to hold the week, no more.

  • Planning

    This week & this month

The same list at two zoom levels, with the important dates calendar on top and prep suggested a few days ahead.

  • Planning

    Triage

One place for everything captured: notes, kids' requests, shopping, rides, waiting-ons. Each line becomes a date, task, meal, list item or someday — or gets deleted, which is always allowed.

  • Planning

    Sunday Shura

A nine-step weekly sit-down: intention, triage, kids' news, rides, meals, shopping, waiting-ons, what needs preparing, and a family brief. It saves as you go and Sunday is only a suggestion.

  • Planning

    Looking ahead

The year's practical checklist — forms, renewals, seasonal things — with questions the app can turn into dated items for you.

  • Planning

    Your first week

An optional map of the app, spread over a few days. Ticking boxes changes nothing else.

Running the house

Shared work, shared visibility.

  • Running the house

    Amanahs

Responsibilities someone is trusted with, with a level and an optional due day. Framed as trust rather than a chore chart.

  • Running the house

    Around the house

Chores grouped into your own sections and projects, rotating or fixed, with subtasks and a focus view for the hard ones.

  • Running the house

    Rides

Who's driving whom this week, so it isn't held in one person's head.

  • Running the house

    Meals

A loose week of dinners with a saved meal library and tags. Leftovers count.

  • Running the house

    Bills

What's due, what's paid, autopay flags, and an AI paste box that reads a bill line and fills in the details.

  • Running the house

    Lists

Shopping and anything else that just needs a list.

  • Running the house

    File cabinet

Documents in drawers by type, uploaded as PDFs, docs or a photo of the paper. Version history, re-check reminders, per-drawer visibility, and temporary download-only share links.

How everyone's doing

Temperature checks, never scores.

  • How everyone's doing

    Daily check-in

One minute: a mood, five soft sliders, one optional line. Each person's days average into the week's pulse.

  • How everyone's doing

    Weekly Family Pulse

The family's mood, something to celebrate, and per-person ratings. Kids can answer privately or share.

  • How everyone's doing

    Week progress & heatmap

Who checked in on which day, how much of the week has been counted, and a small pattern of the last four weeks. Blank days are just blank.

  • How everyone's doing

    Notifications & opt-in reminders

Shared answers and reminders in one quiet place. Daily and weekly nudges are off until you turn them on, and 'Not today' ends it.

  • How everyone's doing

    Our family

A page per child: what's going well, what's worth a conversation, one-on-one time and age-appropriate topics.

  • How everyone's doing

    Rituals

The repeating warmth: pulse, one-on-one dates, quarterly deeper check-ins, six-month resets, the annual growing-up talk.

  • How everyone's doing

    Parent reflection

A monthly muhasabah of ten honest prompts, private to you.

  • How everyone's doing

    Journal

Private notes, photos and memories with dates and tags. Pulse answers and check-ins can be saved straight into it.

  • How everyone's doing

    Kids' space

Their own dashboard: their tasks, their pulse, their journal, and a way to ask for things without a conversation.

  • How everyone's doing

    Stars

Noticing effort with a monthly star budget and rewards worth saving for. Stars are never taken away.

Faith

Only if your family turns this on.

  • Faith

    Du'a & shukr

What we're asking for and what we're grateful for, with answered du'as flowing into an alhamdulillah timeline.

  • Faith

    Sadaqah & family ties

Planned giving and service, plus who we haven't called in a while.

  • Faith

    Adab & repair

The handful of principles the family agreed on, and a gentle way to make things right after a hard moment.

  • Faith

    Faith rhythms on Today

Salah, a moment with the Qur'an, a hadith and dhikr appear as invitations in the shape of the day.

Yours

Space that isn't about logistics.

  • Yours

    My space

Personal goals, what you're reading and watching, your own tasks, and the shared photo album.

  • Yours

    Someday

A bucket list with no dates and no reminders, ever.

  • Yours

    Joy deck

Traditions, small joys and question cards to ask your kids.

  • Yours

    Settings

Names and colours, which sections exist at all, resting mode, star budget, cabinet access roles, household switching and invites.
